Ben Locke – Greg
An ensemble member of Chicago’s Bramble Theater, Mr. Locke has performed on many of the stages in greater Chicago. He also knows his way around a keyboard, and has several scripts to show for it. Now taking his considerable talents from the stage to the screen, Mr. Locke, in addition to playing the lead in “Strange Creatures”, is developing the “Room for More” web series. He graduated from Millikin University with a joint degree in Theater and Human Services, but only because they didn’t offer a major in the Comparative Analysis of SpongeBob Squarepants episodes.
Jake Beauvais – The Roommate
Mr. Beauvais made his way to the tropical heat of Chicago after graduating with a degree in theater from the University of Alaska Anchorage. His speciality is improv, which, fortunately, didn’t stop him from using a script during the “Strange Creatures” sessions.
Hayden Cannon – The Co-worker
Mr. Cannon comes to the set of “Strange Creatures” from Southern Utah University. Not listed on his resume is a talent for keeping a leashed dog calm while the camera is rolling. He should think about adding that.
Jesse Jesse – The Boss
Mr. Jensen has been a long-time fixture in Hyde Park’s improv community, which is why he refers to scripts as “those paper things”.
Todd Wells – Writer and Director
Mr. Wells has written many short stories and directed several musical comedies on the stage, including “Espionage”, “Sightseeing”, and “Heroine: A Journey”. He dabbles in time travel, in that he sometimes plays bass in a 1980s cover band.
